Entry Fee:
Fee for the 2020 Ohio AAU State Championship DQT is $295 prior to 5/15/20 increases to $350 up to registration closing on 5/22/19.

Girls’ Age Determination

9th Grade Division – An athlete must be in the 9th grade as of October 1, 2019 and can be no older than 16 on August 31, 2020. For an athlete that is in the 10th grade as of October 1, 2019 wanting to petition to play down, in the 9th grade division they can be no older than 15 on August 31, 2020.

8th Grade Division – An athlete must be in the 8th grade as of October 1, 2019 and can be no older than 15 on August 31, 2020. For an athlete that is in the 9th grade as of October 1, 2019 wanting to petition to play down, in the 8th grade division they can be no older than 14 on August 31, 2020.

7th Grade Division – An athlete must be in the 7th grade as of October 1, 2019 and can be no older than 14 on August 31, 2020. For an athlete that is in the 8th grade as of October 1, 2019 wanting to petition to play down, in the 7th grade division they can be no older than 13 on August 31, 2020.

6th Grade Division – An athlete must be in the 6th grade as of October 1, 2019 and can be no older than 13 on August 31, 2020. For an athlete that is in the 7th grade as of October 1, 2019 wanting to petition to play down, in the 6th grade division they can be no older than 12 on August 31, 2020.

5th Grade Division – An athlete must be in the 5th grade as of October 1, 2019 and can be no older than 12 on August 31, 2020. For an athlete that is in the 6th grade as of October 1, 2019 wanting to petition to play down, in the 5th grade division they can be no older than 11 on August 31, 2020.

4th Grade Division – An athlete must be in the 4th grade as of October 1, 2019 and can be no older than 11 on August 31, 2020. For an athlete that is in the 5th grade as of October 1, 2019 wanting to petition to play down, in the 4th grade division they can be no older than 10 on August 31, 2020.

3rd Grade Division – An athlete must be in the 3rd grade as of October 1, 2019 and can be no older than 10 on August 31, 2020. For an athlete that is in the 4th grade as of October 1, 2019 wanting to petition to play down, in the 3rd grade division they can be no older than 9 on August 31, 2020.

Boys’ Age Determination

3rd Grade – An athlete must be in the 3rd grade or below as of October 1, 2019 and can be no older than 10 on August 31, 2020

4tGrade – An athlete must be in the 4th grade or below as of October 1, 2019 and can be no older than 11 on August 31, 2020

5tGrade – An athlete must be in the 5th grade or below as of October 1, 2019 and can be no older than 12 on August 31, 2020

6tGrade – An athlete must be in the 6th grade or below as of October 1, 2019 and can be no older than 13 on August 31, 2020

7tGrade – An athlete must be in the 7th grade or below as of October 1, 2019 and can be no older than 14 on August 31, 2020

8tGrade – An athlete must be in the 8th grade or below as of October 1, 2019 and can be no older than 15 on August 31, 2020

9tGrade Division – An athlete who is in the 9th grade as of October 1, 2019 and who is no older than 16 on August 31, 2020 is eligible to play in the 9th grade division.

Game Guarantee:
Each team will receive a three (3) game guarantee

Rules of Play:
All Girls’ games will follow the AAU Girls’ Basketball Handbook

All Boys’ games will follow the AAU Boys’ Basketball Handbook

Player Roster:
Rosters must be submitted to Host before playing first game.

AAU Membership/ Birth Certificates:
All players must show their current AAU membership card and a copy of a legal BIRTH CERTIFICATE to the designated person at the tournament.

Uniforms:
Teams must have white and dark jerseys.

Admission:
Adult Daily Pass: FRI – $5, SAT – $10, SUN – $10
Child Daily Pass: FRI – $3, SAT – $5 (6-18)
Senior Daily Pass: FRI – $3, SAT – $5
5 and under free

Awards:
AAU medals and trophies will be awarded to the first (1) and (2) place teams.

Play Starts:
Arrangements will be made for teams traveling more than 100 miles (if requested).
